High School Rowing

The Competitive High School Crew Program provides training both on land and on the water. The program focuses on improving skill and technique, and additionally provides an all-encompassing physical exercise regimen aimed at the participants’ successful performance at numerous regattas throughout the State of Florida. Each year, ROCCS’ High School rowers also compete at Regional and State-level Regattas, in both Sculling and Sweeping events.
Not only have ROCCS’ participants exhibited great success at Regional and State-level Regattas, but ROCCS’ High School participants have proudly accepted rowing scholarships to several colleges throughout the Nation, including FIT (Florida Tech), Stetson University, University of Washington, Jacksonville University and University of Tennessee

Masters Rowing

ROCCS is proud to support a Master’s Program consisting of post High School participants.  This program combines a low-impact rowing regiment with cardiovascular and strength-building exercise suitable for Citrus County’s “mature” athletes!  The Master’s Program additionally provides an unmatched opportunity for parents to join their Middle School and High School children in a sport truly suitable for all ages and all families.
