we don't quit
We keep pulling. We keep showing up. We help each other. And we cheer for each other. These are the lessons rowing teaches which will benefit our athletes for their entire lives.
It’s about more than just the rowing.
(Though the rowing’s pretty fun, too).
our team
ROCCS, or Rowing Organization of Citrus County Students, is a not-for-profit organization which has provided accessible, premier-level Crew rowing programs to Citrus County residents since 2003.
Our year-round programs are open to members of all ages and experience levels. If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at rowing, just give us a call, and we’ll be happy to show you the ropes!

our turf
ROCCS athletes row in the beautiful Lake Henderson, which provides more than 5K meters of open rowing. Our launches begin in Liberty Park, in downtown Inverness.
As athletes who spend time on them every day, we have a deep love for our local lakes, and strive to keep them clean and safe. Our lake cleanups are a great way to give back to our community while having a good time together!
our mission
As the first and only rowing club in Inverness, ROCCS is proud to be able to bring this incredibly rewarding sport to our community.
It is our mission to offer inclusive, accessible rowing to persons of all ages and experience levels, while upholding our core values of teamwork, commitment, and dedication. Learn how you can help support us here.
